Vacuum Melt Spinning System
DX series Vacuum Melt Spinning System has the advantages of stable performance and ease of operation. Its working principle is to eject molten metal or alloy to a high-speed rotating copper roll under a high vacuum so that it is rapidly cooled to obtain a thin ribbon. The cooling rate of the melting metal or alloy is high-speed (104K/s to 106K/s), so the “in-order structure” of the material can be kept and ''amorphous metastable material'' can be got. Usually, a molten metal or alloy is cooled to below the glass transition temperature, the nucleation and crystallization occurs and metastable materials can not be obtained.
Configuration of Vacuum Melt Spinning System:
- One set of stainless steel vacuum chamber: φ400×350mm;
- One set of FF-200/1200 molecular pump; one set of 9L mechanical pump;
- One set of control cabinet (including a LED digital vacuum-meter);
- One set of infrared thermometer (600-2000℃), one set of EV1000 frequency converter;
- One melting-spinning oxygen-free copper wheel: φ220×34mm;
- One set of blow-casting mold (including three mold core, can be customized);
- One set of magneto-fluid (water cooling);
- One set of spare parts (including special tools and seal ring;
- Quartz tube: 50pcs;
- Low-noise Lab Chiller;
Note: users prepare Ar bottle and gas meter by themselves.
