Installation of DX2PS 2D Magnetic Field Probe Station

Part 1:

1.   Before hoisting the probe station onto the air-floatation platform, please properly install and level the air-floatation platform first.
2.   The weight of the probe station exceeds 250kg. Users need to prepare handling equipment and lifting ropes with functions similar to those shown in the video in advance.
3.   There are two carrying handles on each of the left and right sides of the probe station. Please use these four carrying handles to lift or hoist the probe station; never use other parts of the probe station for this purpose.
4.   During the handling process, first prioritize safety, and second, avoid collisions and bumps.

5. Place the probe station in the middle of the air-floatation platform surface.

Part 2:

1.   Please correctly install each connector according to the demonstration in the video and the corresponding marks on the connectors. Do not install by force, and avoid incorrect installation or missing installation.
2.   A 13mm open-end wrench needs to be prepared in advance when connecting the water pipe to the water chiller.
3.   Do not pull the water pipe violently.

Part 3

1. Please correctly install each connector according to the demonstration in the video and the corresponding marks on the connectors. Do not install by force, and avoid incorrect installation or missing installation.
2. Tighten the nuts of the positive and negative connectors at the rear of the excitation power supply by hand. Never leave the nuts loose to prevent poor contact.

Part 4

1. Please correctly install each connector according to the demonstration in the video and the corresponding marks on the connectors. Do not install by force, and avoid incorrect installation or missing installation.
2. Wear dust-proof gloves when installing the probes.

3. Use the small flat-head screwdriver provided by the manufacturer to tighten the small screws that fix the probes; do not tighten them violently.
4. Correctly arrange the positions of the four probe holders as shown in the video.

Part 5

1.   If the user prepares their own vacuum pump, they also need to prepare pipe connectors that can connect the vacuum pump to the probe holders.
The air pipe on the probe holder provided by the manufacturer is a PVC transparent hose with an outer diameter of 6mm and an inner diameter of 4mm.
2.   Place the vacuum pump directly on the ground, at a distance of not less than 0.5 meters from the air-floatation platform. Never place it on the air-floatation platform to avoid vibration affecting the test.
3.   When placing samples, if moving the sample stage, pay attention to observation and avoid collisions between the sample stage and other metal parts that may cause breakage.
4.   When conducting vertical magnetic field tests, the sample stage should be close to the upper surface of the vertical electromagnet to ensure the device is within the correct vertical magnetic field range.
