B-H Hysteresis Loop Tester
The B-H hysteresis loop test instrument is integrated and uses samples of the same material but different properties.
Instrument Components: The instrument consists of a black box (with a built-in autotransformer), a standard resistor, a sampling resistor, an integrating resistor, an integrating capacitor, sample 1, sample 2, an AC ammeter, and an AC voltmeter.
Experimental Objectives
1. Master the concepts of magnetic hysteresis, hysteresis loops, and magnetization curves, and deepen understanding of the key physical quantities of ferromagnetic materials: coercivity, remanence, and permeability;
2. Learn to use an oscilloscope to plot basic magnetization curves and hysteresis loops;
3. Determine the saturation magnetic induction, remanence, and coercivity of a magnetic material based on the hysteresis loop;
4. Observe the changes in the hysteresis loops of samples of the same material with and without orientation by changing the sample.
